Guy Campaign Delivers Carnations to Seniors in Hudson County as a Thank You
On Sunday, County Executive candidate Craig Guy’s campaign team visited senior buildings in various Hudson County cities to spread the love leading up to Valentine’s Day. They delivered 2,500 carnations to seniors throughout Hudson County, and thanked them for their contributions to Hudson County.
“Our community’s seniors are integral to the fabric of Hudson County,” said Craig Guy. “The weekend before Valentine’s Day was a great opportunity to connect with seniors and hear from them about the issues that are impacting their lives. As Hudson County Executive I will be dedicated to supporting and uplifting our seniors by offering them no wrong door pathway when applying for social services, Medicare/Medicaid, and food benefits.”
Guy currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the current County Executive Tom DeGise. A lifelong public servant and Democrat, Guy began his career working as a Police Officer in Jersey City for 25 years, as well as serving as President of the Hudson County Schools of Technology Board of Education. From day one he will work to continue expanding public education, keep Hudson County property taxes stable, and invest in parks and recreation spaces.
