Guy Thanks NJ Building Trades President Mullen for Invitation to National Conference
Democratic candidate for Hudson County Executive Craig Guy joined President Joe Biden and labor leaders from throughout the country yesterday in Washington at the North American Building Trades Union Conference. Guy also addressed the event’s New Jersey delegation at their kickoff breakfast and spoke about his strong commitment to organized labor and responsible economic development. The event came on the day that President Biden made his long awaited announcement that he will run for re-election, and Guy is wholeheartedly endorsing the Biden campaign and pledging to work tirelessly to re-elect the Democrat.
“Joe Biden rescued our country from the disaster of the Trump presidency and since then he has led us forward and made important progress on critical issues like investing in our infrastructure, making prescription drugs more affordable, creating jobs and much more, all while protecting our freedoms from right wing extremists,” said Guy. “I’m thrilled to endorse President Biden and as County Executive I will work to unite Democrats and all residents of Hudson County to re-elect him. I would like to thank New Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council President Bill Mullen for inviting me to attend this conference where I had the opportunity to meet with labor leaders and discuss how we can continue to invest in working families, and I pledge to always be an ally and a friend to the men and women of organized labor.”
