Hudson County Unions Rally to Get Out the Vote

Craig Guy, Democratic candidate for Hudson County Executive, joined 300 labor leaders, union members, Column B candidates, and their allies Saturday morning at The View for a rally to get out the vote ahead of Tuesday’s Primary Election. Union members present included members of the CWA, Laborers, Plumbers, Pipefitters, Carpenters, Dock Builders, Ironworkers, Roofers, Tile Setters, Bricklayers, Boilermakers, Sprinkler Fitters, Cement Masons, Operating Engineers, Heavy Contract Laborers, and Electricians. Guy is running for Hudson County Executive to stand up for labor rights and working people in Hudson County.

“I have and always will be a staunch supporter of unions and the rights of workers to collectively bargain,” said Craig Guy. “I was so grateful to all of the incredible labor leaders and union members who showed out today to help get out the vote. I look forward to working closely with Hudson County’s unions as County Executive to make sure that every single worker has access to fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to join a union.”

Craig Guy has previously been endorsed by leading Democratic elected officials like Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Bob Menendez, Senator Cory Booker, and all 12 of Hudson County’s Mayors, as well as leadership from the statewide and Hudson County Fraternal Order of Police, Hudson County Building Trades, CWA and SEIU 32BJ.
